In 2009, Only Revolutions not only catapulted Biffy Clyro even higher on the charts than their previous breakthrough album, Puzzle, but it also started my obsession with the band. Their next output, the double album Opposites, comes out on 28 January and my expectation are pretty high at this point. There's a brand new song...

I've never listened to them before, but this song sounds very promising. I will have to check out their other stuff!
ReplyDeleteI'm actually working on my AOTY for 2012. I failed on writing the influential post (I can't think of anything to say), but I will have my AOTH for you at least. I'm waiting on the Blink EP, due out in December. Do you usually include EPs in your AOTY, or just full length albums?
Full-lentgh, but only because I don't listen to many EPs and there has been none, in my recent memory, that could be on the list. But it really doesn't matter at all. Looking forward to your list, I'm pretty much done with mine... :)

ReplyDeleteI don't think so... I was expecting that Biffy Clyro album, because I missed that it had been pushed back... But I will revisit some albums released earlier, decide the order and most importantly, will check some other CDs, that I missed. Like every year... :D
