This song has been taking a beating in the US news. People think Muse sold out and wrote a terrible song, not Muse worthy. I think I kind of agree. I won't consider myself a Muse fan, but I think they are one of the most talented and respected bands in the biz today. This, however, is below Muse standards.
Hm, I had no idea it was received that poorly, although I kinda agree too, not that they sold out (that was already the case of the song for Twilight), but that it's not worthy of their catalogue. It sounds like a lazy rip off of their older songs...

ReplyDeleteI have the same feelings about the song. I wasn't too impressed with it, but maybe with time it'll grow on me.
