Editorial

Because I have a little bit of free time on my hands, I've been thinking about changing the blog layout a bit. I'd like to make a new background consisted only of album covers, just like the current header. So I'd like if you all threw in some ideas in the comments, because it'd be cool if it represented the taste of all of us. So please, share with me your all time favourite albums or albums you consider the most essential in general (e.g. Sgt. Pepper, Beach Boys' Pet Sounds, some Dylan's classics, Weezer's Blue Album or my favourites Antics by Interpol, Arcade Fire's The Suburbs, The Killers' Sam's Town etc., etc...)

I have enough ideas on my own, but I'd prefer if you all contributed. :)

  1. I'm going to list the ones I'm currently enjoying.
Tourniquet- Stop the Bleeding (if you can get the original cover, I'd prefer that.)
    Tourniquet- Carry the Wounded
    Tourniquet- Vanishing Lessons
Stryper- To Hell With The Devil
Stryper- The Yellow & Black Attack
    Fono- Goesaroundcomesaround
    Bride- The Best Of
Pretty much any Weird Al albums
Michael W Smith- Live the Life
    White Heart- Highlands
Almost forgot Tourniquet- Where Moth and Rust Destroy. That is one awesome album cover.
Is this enough, or too much?

  2. That's all? :) ...kidding, thanks for the input.

Although, I'm looking for albums, that helped to form your taste in music, rather than your current favourites, something, you listened to for months, albums that intoruduced you to a whole new genre, etc....

But don't worry, I'll use some of these too :)

  3. Well, I recently decided not to listen to anything but Christian music (personal preference) but I guess I could add a few from my favorites back then. Collective Soul- Precious Declaration and Hints, Allegations, and Things Unsaid. Toad The Wet Sprocket- Dulcinea. The Calling- Camino Palmero. The Beatles Anthology 1-3. Screaming Trees- Sweet Oblivion. The Smashing Pumpkins- Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness. And Cage the Elephant's debut album. That better for you?

The best thing is, I can always change it or add some more...
